that persistence can make the impossible, possible…

Ten years ago, just before I took my first tap class I began watching the movie Tap over and over again in excitement about what I was about to learn. After taking that first class I, again, turned Tap on and for the first time realized how phenomenal those dancers were!

I mean, I could recognize some of the tap steps they were doing, but could not even begin to fathom how they were executing them so quickly! What they were doing, seemed impossible.

Now I understand that all things, like tap steps, only become impossible when I give up trying.
