What is the Tap Dance Blog?
I get this question from time to time so I thought I would take a moment to answer it in a more in-depth way.
First, a blog is a website that is organized so that new information that can be posted frequently and easily. Blogs are usually organized chronologically so that you can scroll down the page and to previous pages to view older posts.
The reason I decided to create this blog is because there is no central, frequently updated, website for people to go to get information about all of the things that are going on in the world of tap.
Trust me! It takes a LOT of work to stay up on all that is going on (and I still miss things sometimes). Lucky for you, I do all of the hard work so you can sit back and let the news come to you!
I strive to add something relevant to the Tap Dance Blog on each weekday. So if you see something you like today, come back again tomorrow for more.
With the site being so frequently updated, the easiest way to stay up on what’s new is to subscribe. This prevents you from having to remember to come back here everyday and makes it less likely that you will miss important information like upcoming tap shows and auditions which often posy with short notice. Subscribing is better than bookmarking as bookmarking won’t notify you of site updates.
I have an additional post on the advantages of subscribing to websites in my Tech Tutorial.
The best way to use this blog is to check it out everyday and post comments. Comments are great as they add to the value of the site. Even if you just pop in to say how you feel about something I post it’s helpful as I am always trying to improve the site and give you great things to see.

Once again I must thank you for your efforts, have been so wrapped up in political discourse due to the preposterous behaviour of this world’s nations’ governments and their insane wars I’ve nearly gone mad myself. Thanks for returning me to the sanity of ‘tap.’ Aaah, my heart is doing time-steps. Hehehe
I’m in my 59th year so not as active as I’d been; but you’ve rejuvenated my spirit. If there truly is a Santa, you aught to be receiving a very special gift as a reward for your tremendous ‘good deeds.’
Bundles of hugs and best wishes for the holidays.
