What is Tap Dance?

I should be in bed! I am getting over a cold and I’m tired and sleepy!

Still, I have this compelling urge to stay up and watch some YouTube videos about tap dancing. (This after tap dancing for 3 hours myself today!)

Well, I was out on YouTube clicking around when I came across a group of videos that are so important, I just had to share them immediately. Thanks to YouTube user ‘SimmySlydeJr” for posting these to the web.

Posts like this one are the reason why it is good to become a subscriber to this blog, so you don’t miss anything!

In this collection of videos, several of the the surviving master’s of tap dancing talk about the past, present, & future of tap dancing.

Please take the time to watch all five videos…

They are a gift:

“What Tap Is” (Part 1)

“What Tap Is” (Part 2)

“What Tap Is” (Part 3)

“What Tap Is” (Part 4)

“What Tap Is” (Part 5)
