Just after my post went out this week about Jared Grimes performing with Wynton Marsalis at a pre-inauguration event to be broadcast on CNN a subscriber to this blog forwarded me this message distributed on Facebook by Jared:
Subject: CNN is no longer airing the performance for OBAMA:
The nature of television is up and down. CNN has decided to go with alternative broadcasting instead of our show for the new prez. Youtube will probably be the first air that this performance gets so be on the look out there.

I’m sorry this didn’t work out for Jared or for the rest of us who would have surely loved this performance. We wish him the best of luck and I’ll be sure to post the videos on this blog when they become available!
