    A great clip that I haven’t seen before. I really appreciate the idea of stealing being used here which is something that is also a very big part of the development in other jazz dances like lindy hop. Also the idea of basic steps vs. style.

    I watch Gregory Hines and it reminds me of the style that I saw Joseph Wiggans doing the other night at Banjo Jims in NYC.

    Gregory’s influence is far ranging…(stretching all the way to Australia)…I don’t know if there is a tap dancer around today that wasn’t influenced by his genius.
