Masters of Tap, Tap Video Clips

The Nicholas Brothers, Harold and Fayard were two of the most phenomenal dancers in the history of American dance. Their style, charisma, and execution were outstanding! The Nicholas Brothers performed extensively during the Big Band era of jazz. Because of this, they had to adapt their style to become more visually entertaining as the music made the tap sounds harder to hear. This style is referred to as “Flash”. It’s highly acrobatic, incredibly stylized and great fun to watch!

This clip also features the late, great Cab Calloway! The Nicholas Brothers show up at about 1:30 in the video.

Enjoy…
