Tap Dance Podcast – Ep.3 – Brenda Bufalino & The Women in Tap Conference

Recently, I also had the opportunity to speak with Brenda Bufalino about the Women in Tap Conference which took place at UCLA the weekend of February 8th thru the 10th.
Click below to hear the interview!
Ms. Bufalino shared her experience of the festival as well as her perspective on what the new frontiers in tap dancing are. Very interesting indeed!
Brenda Bufalino is a tap dance artist par excellence. Please be sure to head over to Amazon.com and check out her book, “Tapping the Source”, by clicking this link.

Taps,
Nice Interview. The comments about choreography got me thinking. If I understood Ms. Bufalino’s message, just because you can improvise doesn’t mean you stop working on your choreography skills, you have to be able to do both.
I guess that also means if you can’t choreograph (or improvise) you always have to tap to someone else’s choreography thus limiting your individual expression. Thanks for that podcast.
I wasn’t able to play podcast 2# for unknown reason.
