Tagging the Tap Dance Man
I was never any good at playing tag! Carl of Carl’s Jazz Dance Blog has tagged me and now I have to pass on the love!
Once a blogger has been tagged, the rules are that you have to:
1. Link to the blog who tagged you (which I’ve already done)
2. Post the rules to your blog (which I am doing now)
3. Share seven random and/or weird things about yourself. (which I’m about to do)
4. Tag seven people at the end of your post and include links to their blogs. (Will do next!)
5. Let each person know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog
Ok…so here are seven random things about Terrence Taps:
1. To this day, my driver’s license picture shows me with a fade, rather than with my hair in locs.
2. My undergraduate degree is in Accounting, followed by a Master’s in Professional Counseling.
3. In high school I was a member of a singing group called ‘TREH-D’ which stood for Terrence, Rico, Eric, Hanif, & Derrick. (What’s up fellas!).
4. Up until the age of 14, my shoe size was also my age, which made life difficult in middle school. As a result, I didn’t wear shorts for years, even during the summer, because that just made my feet look even bigger.
5. I attended 2 colleges here in Atlanta to complete my Undergraduate degree. The 1st was Oglethorpe University and the 2nd was Morehouse College (my alma mater)
6. I battled an addiction throughout my teenage years…
A video game addiction that is. I practically lived at the arcade for years playing Mortal Kombat & Killer Instinct. To this day, I am practically UNSTOPPABLE with Kitana on Mortal Kombat 2! Trust me…you don’t want it.
7. Before I was a tap dancer I was a regular at many of the local dance clubs. You could usually find me in the middle of a circle engaged in a popping and locking battle. My favorite spots were “The Gate”, “Club Allusions”, and “MBK” (when I was younger.)
It’s time to tag some folks! Here goes:
