Of course no list of my influences would be complete without mentioning Savion Glover. Here is one of my favorite clips of Savion dancing with no less than the great Stevie Wonder! This clip comes from a show that aired on ABC in Atlanta back in 1998 or so. Does anyone remember the name of this show? If you do…please post it.
Savion is currently touring the country in a show called “Classical Savion” where he performs with a Classical ensemble and dances to many great pieces. My favorite was his interpretation of Vivaldi’s “Winter”!!!
