Atlanta Tap Dancer, Terrence Taps

It has been quite some time since I have posted any video of myself tap dancing. Actually, this is only the 2nd time I have ever done so.

This morning I was hard at work creating some more video for the new tap dance, private membership site which will be launching soon. (By the way, that site will include lots of tap dance tutorials!)

Anyway, after FINALLY getting my own combination right for the video, I celebrated by spending a few moments improvising on my board.

It was a kind of “Tap, Happy Dance!”

After looking at it, I thought this clip would be fun to share with everyone here. If you are new to this blog, I am Terrence Taps. I teach and perform tap dancing here in Atlanta (and elsewhere by request.)

I hope you enjoy my mid-morning, impromptu, private tap jam to the beat of a metronome.

Amazing! I am 51 years young and have just started to learn to tap about 5 weeks ago. Watching this is quite overwhelming, but also gives me something to aim for. Although I doubt I’ll ever be able to tap like that!

Thanks for your comment Hazel. There are no limits tp how far you can go! Welcome to tap and I wish you the best of luck.
