My new session of tap classes in Atlanta begin on Saturday, June 16th! Here is a detailed description of each class.
Beginning level – Saturday, 11am:
In this class you learn the basics of tap at an even, relaxed pace. The class is challenging, but not overwhelming. You will certainly break a sweat and have fun doing so. Honi Coles used to say “If you can walk, you can tap” – this class proves it!
Intermediate level – Saturday, 10am:
This class is designed for students who have learned the basics and are hungry for more! Routines and exercises are an important part of this class as students continue to develop technique and style. This class emphasizes the “dancing” in tap dancing!
Advanced level – Saturday, 9am :
This fast-paced class is designed for students who have moved well beyond the basics of tap and need a challenge. The emphasis of the class is on becoming a better dancer/musician. Combinations tend to be more complex and challenging. Students will further develop balance, weight transition skills, and “relaxed ankle” technique. Tap dance improvisation is important in this class as well.

Terrence, where are the classes taught? I am interested in the intermediate class and know someone who may be interested in the beginner class. Also, what is the cost of the class or classes?
